As a valued part of the JP Mechanical’s family, we appreciate the trust you place in us and our people wherever we do business together. In the current environment, it’s important for all of us to monitor the rapidly-evolving situation involving the coronavirus or COVID-19, so we thought it would be helpful to provide an update on how we are handling the situation at JP Mechanical.
First and foremost, safety is always our first priority at JP Mechanical. Working together and abiding by the recommended guidelines, we can protect the safety of our workforce and limit the impact to ongoing projects.JP Mechanical. encourages the following practices to protect yourself and others in the spread of COVID-19:
- Cover your mouth whenever you sneeze
- Avoid touching your eyes, mouth and nose with unwashed hands
- Wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water is not readily available, use hand sanitizer
- Clean frequently touched surfaces, including jobsite offices or break areas.
- Maintain a minimum of 6’ distance between yourself and others. Avoid congregating in confined areas of our office or job sites
- Employees who have traveled to any high-risk coronavirus area, have had family members who have done so, and/or who have been in proximity to anyone suspected of having or confirmed with the virus with in the last 14 days, to self-isolate at home for the next 14 days. It is critical that employees do not report to work while they are experiencing respiratory symptoms such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills or fatigue.
